Spiritual direction is a one-on-one 60 minute monthly or twice monthly conversation in which we focus your life through a spiritual lens. This looks different for every client based on their felt sense of “spiritual.”
There is an important combination of discipline and receptivity at work during sessions and in spiritual life in general. This is not discipline in a punishing sense, but in creating supportive structures and practices in your life to help you focus more on living your values and less on completing your to-do list.
Roseanne Cash said that being a musician is “catching songs.” When you make the effort to carve out time for spiritual life, your ears better hear the songs that are all around you. Hopefully, your living even becomes like a song. In spiritual direction, you come home to yourself, as T.S. Eliot said, and know the place for the first time.
If you want to engage with life on a deeper level, you are in the right place! Whether you long for a richer and more meaningful life, have recently experienced hardship or big changes, or are struggling with the state of the world, spiritual care can help. Align your values and actions to experience the ultimate freedom of living true to yourself. Calibrating your internal compass through spiritual guidance is far from selfish as it allows you to serve others more authentically and from a deeper well.
